I could really picture when Ronnie had to take care of her father when he was sick. I could picture her thinking about Will and the fight they had while she was cleaning, cooking, or helping her dad. Ronnie had to put on a tough face and pretend that she didn't care about her and Will breaking up and her watching her father slowly dying. She had to do all the dirty work and help her father as much as he could because he was starting to get weaker, and weaker because the cancer was starting to take power of his body. She had to be strong for him and her brother Jonah. I really believe that Ronnie is a strong person and she was such a big help to her father. I don't know how she could be strong and work so much and still have to watch her father die and she couldn't do anything about it. I don't know if I could even do that. I really think that this part in the book really showed who Ronnie is and that she is overall just a good, passionate, and strong person.
